The main differences with the 1961/62 NBA are:

• Fort Wayne and Rochester both have teams.
• The season only has 72 games.
• The first round of the playoffs is best of 3.
• The second round of the playoffs is best of 5.
• There are only 8 teams.
• A few logo changes.
